Pickens Academy uses the Saxon Mathematics program beginning with the first grade. When students enter the ninth grade they take Algebra I. In grades ten through twelve, standard diploma students take Algebra II, Geometry, and Business Math using the Merrill Series. Advanced diploma students take Algebra II, Advanced Mathematics, and Calculus using Saxon.
